A ROYAL First BIRTHDAY

Despite being a huge mess, “Cake Smashes” are a beloved 1st Birthday tradition. Our team connected that insight to the Johnson’s Baby product offering and identified the perfect time to capitalize on that connection - Prince George’s first birthday.

My team worked to create the “Cake Smash” campaign to take advantage of this timely moment. Through a collaboration with integrated agency partners, as well as People Magazine, we developed a social strategy around a full content series. We worked to gather and showcase user generated content containing the cutest cake smashes. We also developed corresponding print and digital components not only to honor George’s big day, but to celebrate all 1st birthdays around the world.
